About Us ...

The members of the IMO worldwide have set upon a 20 year plan to:

  • Rebuild the foundations of interaction between the global communities.  In an age where convergence is based upon material and self interest, IMO will promote all global programmes which allow people to realize and acknowledge the needs of others, especially, their family, neighbours, society and the environment;
  • Empower communities to finding themselves in a state of self sufficiency.  For too long, people worldwide have waited for help, charity and sustenance to come from others.  The IMO has set a number of educational programmes through practical examples, as to how every community can build their future from within;
  • Build confidence in the emergence of a true Muslim identity.  Muslims worldwide have been the subject to confusion, torn between their past culture; rituals in a vacuum; and the globalization of the modern world.  The IMO offers guidance to those Muslims through a series of initiatives that will:
  • Make them feel positive about their deep Islamic practices;
  • Ensure that these practices do not alienate them from the local society;
  • Help to build bridges with the local community by erasing ignorance.
  • Continue to build a meaningful infrastructure of institutions globally.  There are already millions of mosques and centers established worldwide.  There is a huge deficiency in optimizing these assets for the greater good, rather than letting them decay on a narrow premise.  IMO will use its existing global network to support and build this process.
