The IMO has branches in twenty five countries around the world. The Central Body of the IMO at the headquarters in England does not seek to control and dictate the day to day agendas of any of its branches. The Central Body simply seeks to offer guidance and direction to all the adherent and affiliated organizations. All national organizations work independently but aspire to align themselves to the ethos, values and philosophy offered by the Central Body.
All campaigns organized by the Central Body are supported and endorsed by all worldwide national organizations of the IMO.
The Central Body of the IMO are prepared to consider joining hands with other organizations that are prepared to adopt the global philosophy and the aims and objectives of the IMO. The Central Body of the IMO welcomes the diversity of opinion found in the international body of the Muslim Community. The Central Body merely streamlines that opinion through its affinity and association to give that voice global efficacy and execution.
The Central Body of the IMO is governed by a constitution. The constitution was passed in the international Annual Conference of the IMO in 1988.
